IonicDeveloper Environment Version 1609.2 Release Date 9/30/2016 by [email protected] This file contains a complete and simple development platform for Ionic/Angular Android Apps. All you need to install on your PC is a free VMware Player for your operation system, available for Windows, Linux and MAC. The vm image file contains Debian 8.6 64 bit with Gnome minimal, VM Tools, Firefox, Chrome, the real Oracle Java JDK 1.8 and Android SDK, Node server 4.6 with NPM, Angular, Ionic and Bower, Sublime Text Editor and much more... no hassle with installing on Linux ;) With some additionally tools already installed, also a classic Windows user should be able to handle this. KNOWN RESTRICTIONS: - your PC has to support virtualization - the Android emulator does not run in the virtual environment (use your smart phone or browser preview for testing) What's the story behind? I got sick of all these different installations for various projects and online courses, messing with each other and my system. Now for each new project I just clone a new VM and everything is running smoothly :) Installation: After you installed the VMware Player (or Workstation), extract the .7z file and open the vmdk file in it. Check the settings (CPU, RAM) according to your PC (1 Core 1 GB RAM tested). Start the VM. Password (also for root) is: changeme Have fun and SEED! ---------------------------------------------- This is NOT just an updated version. Every release is a new full install from zero. ---------------------------------------------- Solved issue(s) with this version: - VM now resizes screen resolution automatically, also in full screen view - Cordova/Android PATH Added/changed with this version: - GitKraken (other Git GUIs removed) - Ionic Lab GUI - Keepass2 - Vivaldi Browser removed - Taskbars and Desktop Icons added Requests/Bugs/Comments?
